Explosion hurts three near Maysville

Three people were injured in an explosion at a home near Maysville, Kentucky, on Thursday, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Office.

The explosion happened around 11:30 a.m. at a home on Maysville Road, just north of the city limits. The three victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but the sheriff's office said it appears to have been caused by a propane leak.

The explosion caused significant damage to the home, and the roof collapsed. The home is uninhabitable, and the Red Cross is assisting the victims with shelter.
